NEWARK, Del. — The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is warning drivers of upcoming overnight lane restrictions near the I-95 and SR 896 interchange in Newark.
Starting Sunday, July 26, the northbound I-95 off-ramp to SR 896 will be shut down each night from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday, July 30. The closures are necessary to allow crews to complete paving work in the area.
Detour routes will be marked during the closure periods, weather permitting.
Motorists are encouraged to stay informed by visiting the project website at 95896improvements.com, where they can sign up to receive text or email alerts about construction-related closures and updates.
