SALISBURY, Md. — Drivers heading through Beaglin Park Drive in Salisbury are being asked to prepare for a temporary lane shift next Thursday as underground utility work gets underway in the area.
The City of Salisbury announced that the lane shift will be in place on July 23, 2026, running from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., provided weather cooperates. The work is connected to the Greystone development and involves a water tap installation being carried out by a private contractor.
The lane shift will affect the stretch of Beaglin Park Drive between Glen Avenue and Hannibal Street, extending toward North Park Drive. Traffic will continue to move through the construction zone, but drivers should be ready for some slowdowns along the route.
Officials are urging motorists to slow down, stay alert, and follow instructions from flaggers who will be on site. Signage and a Variable Message Board will also be in place to help guide traffic safely through the work area.
The job is expected to wrap up in a single day, barring any weather-related setbacks. The City of Salisbury thanked the public in advance for their patience while the infrastructure project is completed.
