Narrative: The Dover Police Department has arrested Latasha Bryant, 37, of Georgia, following a shooting that occurred Thursday morning. The investigation began at 11:45 a.m., when Dover Police were called to a parking lot in the 600 Block of Bay Road for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the victims. The ensuing investigation revealed that Bryant and the victims had gotten into an argument over property. During this argument, Bryant fired a handgun at the victims and fled in a 2022 Jeep Wagoneer. Thankfully, no injuries occurred during this incident.
Officers learned that Bryant was possibly headed to Georgia. On 10/02/2025 at 4:45 p.m.. Bryant was stopped by the Virginia State Police on I-95 near Richmond, Virginia, in the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and was taken into custody without incident.
Bryant is being held in Virginia pending extradition on the following charges:
-Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
-Reckless Endangering First Degree(2x)
Bryant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
