New Castle County drivers are being put on notice about an upcoming road closure that will affect travel in the area for several weeks.
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is announcing that Upper Pike Creek Road will be closed between Old Coach Road and New Linden Hill Road beginning Monday, July 20th. The closure will be in effect during the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day and is expected to continue for several weeks.
Construction crews will be on site to mill, patch, and pave the roadway during that time. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time or find alternate routes while the work is underway.
