DOVER — The Delaware Department of Transportation has announced a road closure on Kenton Road between College Road and Turnberry Drive/Burning Tree Road, beginning Friday, July 31st and continuing through mid-September.
The closure is necessary to carry out Phase 5 of the Kenton Road Improvements Project.
Drivers heading northbound on Kenton Road should follow this detour: turn right onto College Road, then left onto McKee Road, followed by a left onto W. Denneys Road, and finally a right back onto Kenton Road to continue heading north.
Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time and follow posted detour signs throughout the duration of the project.
