Delaware State Police have arrested two Bridgeville men in connection with a drive-by shooting that took place Sunday afternoon in the same community where both suspects live.
According to authorities, the incident happened around 12:30 p.m. on July 19, 2026, in the 22000 block of Mill Park Drive in Bridgeville. Troopers were called to the scene after reports of shots being fired. Upon arrival, investigators learned that two suspects had driven past a home and opened fire on two individuals who were standing outside. The residence was hit by the gunfire, but fortunately neither of the two people outside were hurt.
Through their investigation, detectives identified 21-year-old Christian Greene and 21-year-old Corey Sanders, Jr., both of Bridgeville, as the individuals responsible and secured arrest warrants for both men.
The following day, July 20, 2026, Greene and Sanders were taken into custody without any resistance and transported to Troop 4.
Greene was arraigned before a Justice of the Peace and sent to the Department of Correction on a $172,001 cash bond. He faces the following charges:
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony) – 2 counts
- Possess, Purchase, Own, or Control of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited Prior Violent Crime or Felony (Felony)
- Reckless Endangering 2nd Degree (Felony) – 2 counts
- Conspiracy 2nd Degree (Felony)
- Criminal Mischief under $1,000
Sanders was also arraigned before a Justice of the Peace and committed to the Department of Correction, held on a $140,001 cash bond. He faces the following charges:
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony) – 2 counts
- Reckless Endangering 2nd Degree (Felony) – 2 counts
- Conspiracy 2nd Degree (Felony)
- Criminal Mischief under $1,000
