Indian Tech Firm Coforge Lands $230M AI Deal with Unnamed European Client

Indian technology services firm Coforge announced Friday that it has landed a five-year deal worth more than $230 million with a major European client, though the company declined to identify the customer. The contract focuses on an AI-led program designed to overhaul the client’s business operations.

According to Coforge, the engagement ranks among its largest AI-driven transformation contracts in Europe. The program will draw on low-code and no-code platforms, AI-powered automation tools, and AI-assisted software development to bring the client’s business processes into the modern era.

The company stated in a filing with a stock exchange that the deal is expected to sharpen decision-making, increase worker productivity, cut down on manual tasks, and accelerate how quickly services are delivered to customers.

Following the contract announcement, Coforge shares climbed as much as 1.72%, reaching a session high of 1,464.70 rupees.

John Speight, Coforge’s president and Europe business leader, said the agreement reflects a broader shift happening across industries. “The deal reflects growing demand for enterprise-scale AI transformation as organizations move beyond pilot projects to broader AI adoption,” Speight said.
