Indian technology firm HCLTech announced Friday that it will build its first dedicated artificial intelligence data center in the eastern state of Odisha, taking on the massive project alongside AI startup Sarvam AI.
The total cost of the venture is set at 142.57 billion rupees, which converts to roughly $1.48 billion at current exchange rates. The Odisha state government is expected to contribute financial support to help fund the project.
