Heat Advisory in Effect Tuesday Evening for the Region

The National Weather Service office in Mount Holly, New Jersey has put a Heat Advisory into effect for the area, warning residents of dangerous heat conditions on Tuesday, July 15.

The advisory went into effect at 2:59 PM EDT and is set to expire at 8:00 PM EDT the same evening.

During a Heat Advisory, health officials generally recommend that residents stay hydrated, limit time outdoors during the hottest parts of the day, and check on elderly neighbors and family members who may be more vulnerable to heat-related illness.
