GE HealthCare announced Thursday that Chief Financial Officer Jay Saccaro will be leaving his position to pursue a career opportunity in a different industry outside of medical technology.
To fill the role on a temporary basis, the medical device company has appointed George Newcomb, who currently serves as the company’s controller and chief accounting officer, as interim CFO. Saccaro is expected to stay on with the organization through August 14 to assist with the leadership transition.
The Chicago-based company also released preliminary financial results for the second quarter, projecting revenue growth of 5.7% compared to the same period last year, or 3.5% on an organic basis. GE HealthCare also reaffirmed its financial guidance for the full year.
