Flood Watch in Effect Through Tuesday Afternoon

The National Weather Service office in Mount Holly, New Jersey has issued a Flood Watch effective from early Monday morning, July 28, through 2:00 PM EDT on Tuesday, July 29.

A Flood Watch means that conditions are favorable for flooding to develop in the watch area. Residents should remain alert, avoid low-lying areas near streams and waterways, and be prepared to act quickly if flooding begins.

Officials encourage the public to never attempt to drive through flooded roadways, as even shallow water can be dangerous. Continue to monitor local forecasts and be ready to respond to any Flood Warnings that may be issued as conditions evolve.
