A perfect summer night set the stage at Harrington Raceway on Thursday, July 23, as Delaware’s finest standardbred horses took to the track for the annual Delaware State Fair harness racing program.
The evening featured 12 races, making it the most prize-rich night of the year for local harness racing fans and competitors alike.
Among the standout performers was Top Flight Champion, guided by driver Eddie Dennis, who added another win to an already impressive run. The horse has now captured five races in a row, cementing its status as one of the top competitors on the Delaware standardbred circuit.
The Delaware State Fair program at Harrington Raceway is considered the premier event of the harness racing calendar in the region, drawing top horses and drivers for a night of high-stakes competition.
