Tempus AI announced Monday that it has reached an agreement to purchase Personalis in a transaction worth roughly $1.5 billion. The deal will bring Personalis’s cancer testing technology into the fold of Tempus AI’s growing portfolio of AI-powered precision medicine tools focused on oncology.
