Salisbury Skate Park Closing This Week for Concrete Repairs

SALISBURY, Md. — Skaters will need to find another spot to ride for a couple of days this week as the Salisbury Skate Park prepares to close for concrete repairs.

The City of Salisbury’s Field Operations Department has scheduled repair work on multiple concrete surfaces throughout the skate park for Thursday, July 23, 2026. Because freshly poured concrete needs adequate time to set and harden, the park will remain closed both Thursday, July 23 and Friday, July 24.

As long as weather cooperates and the concrete cures properly, the skate park is expected to be back open to the public on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

City officials say the repairs are part of a continued commitment to keeping the facility safe, well-maintained, and usable for years to come. Residents are asked to be patient while the work is completed.
