A Texas egg producer is pulling nearly 1.6 million dozen eggs from shelves after concerns arose that the products may be tainted with a dangerous bacteria.
Midwest Poultry Services, L.P. announced it is voluntarily recalling 1,589,577 dozen white shell eggs and brown cage-free shell eggs that were produced in Texas. The recall was triggered by the potential presence of Salmonella Enteritidis in the products.
