The National Weather Service out of Mount Holly, New Jersey has put a Flood Watch into effect starting at 3:07 AM Eastern Time on July 21, with the watch set to expire at 2:00 AM Eastern Time on July 22.
A Flood Watch means that conditions are favorable for flooding to develop in the affected area. Residents are encouraged to stay aware of changing weather conditions and be ready to take action if flooding begins.
Officials recommend avoiding low-lying areas and waterways, and to never attempt to drive through flooded roadways. If flooding occurs, move to higher ground immediately and wait for official clearance before returning to affected areas.
