The National Weather Service office in Mount Holly, New Jersey has issued a Flash Flood Warning that went into effect Monday evening at 6:53 PM Eastern time.
The warning is set to remain in place until 11:00 PM EDT on July 21. Forecasters are urging people in the affected area to avoid low-lying spots, underpasses, and any areas that are known to flood during heavy rainfall.
Residents should never attempt to drive through flooded roadways. Even a small amount of moving water can sweep a vehicle off the road. When in doubt, turn around and find an alternate route.
