Delaware Firefighters Deploy to Battle Bear Trap Fire in Minnesota

The Delaware Forest Service has sent a firefighting crew and specialized equipment to northern Minnesota to help battle the Bear Trap Fire.

The team is made up of three members: Engine Boss Adam Keever, Engine Boss Jim Charney, and Firefighter Type II Ryan Brown. They are traveling with a Type 6 Wildland Fire Engine, designated E-613.

The crew has been mobilized to support ongoing suppression efforts on the fire burning in the northern part of the state.
