The messages threaten serious consequences if payment isn’t made by a certain deadline, including suspended vehicle registration, loss of driving privileges, potential legal consequences, and collection agency involvement.
DMV officials are advising all Delaware residents to avoid clicking any links contained in these suspicious text messages.
