Air Quality Alert in Effect for the Region

The National Weather Service office located in Mount Holly, New Jersey has issued an Air Quality Alert, effective as of 3:45 PM Eastern Time on July 16.

During periods of poor air quality, residents — especially those with asthma, heart disease, or other respiratory or cardiovascular conditions — are encouraged to limit prolonged outdoor activity. Children and the elderly are also considered more vulnerable during these alert periods.
