
Delaware State Police are looking into a shots fired incident that took place late Saturday evening in Smyrna.
Around 10:00 p.m. on July 25, 2026, troopers were called to a home in the unit block of Harvest Court after someone reported hearing gunshots. When officers arrived, they discovered several spent shell casings at the scene and confirmed that the residence had been hit by gunfire. People were inside the home at the time, but fortunately no injuries were reported.
The Delaware State Police Criminal Investigations Unit has since taken charge of the case. Detectives are urging anyone who may have information about the incident to reach out to Detective R.
