SALISBURY, MD — The City of Salisbury’s Department of Field Operations is gearing up to put the finishing touches on the Queen Anne Street resurfacing project this Friday, July 17, 2026 — as long as the weather cooperates.
Crews are scheduled to be on-site from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the goal of wrapping everything up in a single day. The work will focus on the last 200-foot stretch of Queen Anne Street, running between Decatur Street and Priscilla Street, which will be repaved by the city’s paving contractor.
Anyone traveling or living in the area should be prepared for some temporary traffic disruptions while the paving work is underway. To help things go smoothly and safely, residents are being asked to keep their vehicles off the street during those hours.
The city expressed appreciation for the community’s patience throughout the project, noting that the completed resurfacing will lead to better road conditions and a smoother ride for both residents and visitors to the area.
Anyone with questions can reach the Department of Field Operations directly at 410-548-3177.
