At the time of the advisory, the center of the remnants was located near 30.0 degrees north latitude and 96.0 degrees west longitude, with the position accurate to within 60 nautical miles. The system was tracking westward at 12 knots.
The weakened storm had a minimum central pressure of 1008 millibars, with maximum sustained winds of 30 knots and gusts reaching up to 40 knots. Forecasters noted that winds and seas varied considerably across different quadrants of the system.
The advisory confirmed that by 12:00 UTC on Friday, the system was expected to have fully dissipated. The National Hurricane Center stated this was the last forecast advisory it would issue for this storm.
The advisory was issued by forecaster Pasch. Maritime interests within 300 miles of the system’s center were asked to submit ship reports every three hours.
