North Park Drive in Salisbury to Close for Sewer Upgrades Starting July 27

SALISBURY, MD — Drivers and residents in Salisbury are being asked to plan ahead as a portion of North Park Drive is set to close temporarily for wastewater infrastructure work.

Construction is slated to kick off Monday, July 27, 2026, and crews anticipate the project will wrap up in roughly one month.

The affected stretch runs between 127 and 129 North Park Drive. While through traffic will not be permitted along that section of the road, homeowners and residents will still be able to reach their properties. Anyone accessing North Park Drive will need to enter and exit from the end of the street nearest to their home.

Parking along the street near the construction zone will also be restricted for the length of the project to protect the safety of both workers and the public.

The City of Salisbury acknowledged that construction disruptions can be frustrating and thanked the community in advance for its patience while the infrastructure improvements are carried out.

Drivers traveling through the area are asked to stay alert, obey all posted signs, and budget extra time for their commute when needed.

Anyone with questions about the project or the road closure can reach the Department of Water Works by calling 410-548-3180.
