Israel’s security cabinet has voted to allow a proposed international force to gain access to portions of the Gaza Strip that fall outside of Israeli control, according to an Israeli official.
The force in question — referred to as the International Security Force — is a central component of a plan for Gaza that was backed by the United States and first introduced in October.
