Gunfire Strikes Occupied Lincoln Home Early Saturday Morning

Delaware State Police are looking into a shots fired incident that took place in the early morning hours of Saturday in the community of Lincoln.

At around 1:30 a.m. on July 25, 2026, troopers were called to a home in the 18000 block of Silver Maple Drive after a report of gunshots. When officers arrived, they discovered several spent shell casings and confirmed that the residence had been struck by bullets. People were inside the home at the time, but fortunately nobody was injured.

The Delaware State Police Criminal Investigations Unit has since taken charge of the case. Detectives are asking anyone with information to reach out to Detective C.
