A federal animal and plant health agency has announced its intention to update and extend approval of an information collection tied to regulations covering permanent, privately owned horse quarantine facilities.
The announcement, made in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, comes from the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, which oversees rules related to the quarantine of horses at privately owned, permanent facilities.
The agency is seeking both a revision to the existing information collection and an extension of its current approval, a routine step required under federal law when such collections continue to be used by a government agency.
