DOVER — The Delaware Department of Transportation has announced a temporary road closure affecting a stretch of Bank Lane in Dover beginning this weekend.
Bank Lane will be completely closed between S. Governors Ave and The Green starting Saturday, August 1st. The closure is expected to remain in effect through Thursday, August 6th, though officials note the timeline is weather dependent.
The shutdown is necessary to allow crews to perform a full reconstruction of the roadway. Drivers who regularly travel through that area are encouraged to find alternate routes during the closure period.
