A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service office in Mount Holly, New Jersey, effective from 5:22 PM EDT through 9:30 PM EDT on July 27.
Residents are urged to take the warning seriously and stay away from flood-prone areas, drainage ditches, and any roadways that may be covered by water. Conditions can change rapidly during flash flood events, and even shallow moving water can be dangerous.
Authorities remind everyone to never attempt to drive through flooded roads. If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an alternate route. The warning will remain in place until 9:30 PM EDT tonight.
