NEWARK, Del. — More than 400 field hockey teams from around the world will descend on the Netherlands and Belgium this summer for one of the sport’s biggest international competitions at the masters level.
The 2026 World Masters Hockey World Cup is scheduled to run from July 22 through August 16, drawing competitors with deep roots in the game — including players connected to Newark, Delaware.
The tournament represents a major milestone for the field hockey community, bringing together athletes who have dedicated years to the sport across multiple generations.
