A one-of-a-kind program based in Colorado is giving students a direct role in addressing the challenges their communities face — and the results are helping make those communities safer, stronger, and more tightly knit.
The program, known as HEART Force, provides students with an opportunity to sit alongside community leaders and contribute meaningful solutions to local problems.
