    Troopers Arrest Seaford Man for 5th Offense DUI in Millville

    Delaware State Police have arrested 46-year-old Charles Graves of Seaford, Delaware, for 5th offense felony DUI yesterday in Millville.

    On January 24, 2025, at approximately 5:47 p.m., troopers responded to the 35000 block of Atlantic Avenue in Millville, for a report of a vehicle parked on a sidewalk. When troopers arrived, they saw a Chevrolet Silverado on the sidewalk with the driver asleep. When troopers spoke to the driver, identified as Charles Graves, he showed signs of impairment. Troopers administered Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and after the tests, he was arrested for driving under the influence. A computer check showed that Graves had four prior DUI-related convictions. During a search of the truck, troopers found drug paraphernalia.

    Graves was taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $5,200 cash bond.

    Troopers Arrest Wilmington Man for DUI, Gun, and Drug Charges in Georgetown

    Delaware State Police have arrested 35-year-old Douglas McLean of Wilmington, Delaware, for DUI, drug, and stolen gun charges following a traffic stop in Georgetown.

    On January 24, 2025, at approximately 4:33 a.m., a trooper on patrol saw a Ford Fusion speeding and swerving on Dupont Boulevard northbound near Deer Forest Road. The trooper pulled the car over and spoke to the driver, identified as Douglas McLean, who showed signs of impairment. The trooper administered Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and after the tests, he was arrested for driving under the influence. During a search of the car, troopers found a stolen 9mm handgun, ammunition, and approximately 2.3 grams of cocaine.

    McLean was taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $55,702 cash bond.

    • Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of a Felony (Felony)
    • Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Person Prohibited (Felony)

    State Police Detectives Investigating Newark Armed Robbery

    The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Four Seasons Tobacco Outlet in Newark this morning.

    On January 25, 2025, at approximately 10:35 a.m., troopers responded to a report of an armed robbery at Four Season Tobacco Outlet, located at 638 Plaza Drive in Newark. The preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown black male suspect entered the business, jumped the counter, threatened an employee with a knife and began removing tobacco products. Before fleeing the scene, the suspect punched the employee, he was not injured.

    The suspect is described as a black male wearing black clothing. Surveillance video and images are not yet available.

    Delaware State Police Troop 2 Robbery Unit continues to investigate this incident. Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed this incident or has relevant information to contact Detective D.     Search Warrant in Dover Leads to Arrests for Drug Offenses

    Delaware State Police have arrested 36-year-old Dante Durham, and 48-year-old Ernie Washington, both from Dover, Delaware, for felony drug charges following a search warrant at a Dover residence.

    On January 23, 2025, members of the Kent County Drug Unit, Kent County Governor’s Task Force, Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team, and Delaware Probation and Parole, executed a search warrant at a house on the 200 block of Gunning Bedford Drive in Dover. The search warrant was obtained following an investigation of Durham and the distribution of illegal narcotics from the property. During the search warrant, Washington threw a bag containing drugs out of a window that detectives recovered. A child was in the residence when Durham and Washington were taken into custody.

    A search of the residence and vehicles on the property led to the discovery of the following items:

    • Approximately 73.36 grams of cocaine
    • Approximately 22.38 grams of crack cocaine
    • Approximately 566.65 grams of marijuana
    • Approximately 0.69 grams of heroin
    • 22 suboxone strips
    • Digital scales
    • $8,049 is suspected drug proceeds

    After completing the search, Durham and Washington were taken to Troop 3, where they were charged with multiple felony offenses.


    Durham was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $131,750 cash bond.

    State Police Detectives Arrest Ellendale Man for Theft of Campers

    Delaware State Police have arrested 39-year-old Leon Leager of Ellendale, Delaware for theft and related charges in theft of pull-behind campers.

    On January 12, 2025, at approximately 11:20 a.m., troopers responded to the 10000 block of Blacksmith Shop Road in Greenwood, for a reported theft of two campers. During the investigation, troopers learned that on January 10th, an unknown suspect, driving an unknown black pick-up, stole a 28-foot Keystone Kodiak camper from the property. It was also learned that on January 11th, an unknown suspect, driving an unknown black pick-up, stole a 32-foot Prowler camper from the same property. Through investigative means, detectives identified Leon Leager as the suspect in the thefts and located the Prowler camper that was damaged after the theft. Detectives continue their ongoing efforts to locate the stolen Keystone Kodiak camper (pictured below) and are requesting the public’s assistance with any information about its whereabouts.

    On January 15, 2025, Leager was arrested and taken to Troop 4, where was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released on a $10,150 unsecured bond.

    Search Warrant in Magnolia Leads to Arrests for Gun and Drug Offenses

    Delaware State Police have arrested 58-year-old Tina Burris, 22-year-old Doimeire Gray, and 24-year-old Devon Young, all from Magnolia, Delaware, for felony gun and drug charges following a search warrant at a Magnolia residence.

    On January 17, 2025, members of the Kent County Drug Unit, Kent County Governor’s Task Force, and Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team, executed a search warrant at a house on Gray’s Lane in Magnolia. The search warrant was obtained following an investigation of Burris, Gray, and Young and the distribution of illegal narcotics from the property. During the search warrant, Young discarded drugs in a toilet. All three were taken into custody at the residence without incident.

    A search of the property led to the discovery of the following items:

    • .357 handgun and ammunition
    • Stolen 9mm handgun and ammunition
    • Approximately 239.72 grams of crack cocaine
    • Approximately 29.42 grams of cocaine
    • Approximately 7.02 grams of heroin
    • Approximately 3.78 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms
    • Digital scale
    • Drug paraphernalia
    • $19,199 in suspected drug proceeds

    Burris, Gray, and Young were arrested and taken to Troop 3 where they were charged with multiple crimes.


    Burris was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $147,000 cash bond.

    Delaware State Police Detectives are investigating two shootings that occurred in Dover.

    On January 19, 2025, at approximately 1:58 p.m., troopers responded to the 200 block of Gunning Bedford Drive in the Rodney Village community for a report of a shooting. When troopers arrived, they learned that on January 18th at approximately 8:30 p.m., unknown suspects fired an unknown number of shots that hit the residence. The two adults in the residence were not hurt.

    On January 20, 2025, at approximately 1:11 a.m., troopers responded to the same residence for another report of a shooting. When troopers arrived, they learned that unknown suspects fired an unknown number of shots that hit the residence. One adult was in the residence at the time and was not hurt.

    Governor’s Task Force Arrests Seaford Man for Gun and Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop in Seaford

    The Delaware State Police have arrested 19-year-old Asjmeir Fiorentino of Seaford, Delaware, for gun and drug charges following a traffic stop that occurred in Seaford.

    On January 15, 2025, at approximately 12:31 p.m., members of the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force were patrolling Concord Road near Tranquill Boulevard when they saw a Ford Edge traveling westbound on Concord Road with a registration violation. Detectives pulled the Edge over and spoke with the driver, identified as Asjmeir Fiorentino, During the traffic stop, detectives learned Fiorentino did not have a valid driver’s license. Additionally, detectives smelled an odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle and saw a marijuana cigar on a can in the center cupholder. Fiortentino was ultimately taken into custody, and a subsequent search of his person and the Edge led to the discovery of the following items:

    • Polymer 9mm handgun
    • Extended round magazine
    • Multiple rounds of 9mm ammunition
    • Approximately 1.62 grams of crack cocaine
    • Approximately 1.66 grams of marijuana
    • Drug paraphernalia

    Fiorentino was taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $44,403 cash bond.

    State Police Investigating Serious Crash Following Motorcyclist’s Attempt to Elude Traffic Stop

    The Delaware State Police are investigating a serious crash that occurred yesterday in Lewes that left one man critically injured.

    On January 13, 2025, at approximately 5:32 p.m., a Suzuki GSXR 750 motorcycle was traveling northbound on Coastal Highway near Old Landing Road in the right lane. The motorcycle passed an unmarked Delaware State Police Chevrolet Tahoe in the center lane and then split the lane between two other vehicles by riding along the dashed lane markings.

    The trooper attempted to pull the motorcycle over, but it fled at a high rate of speed, driving recklessly on Coastal Highway while eluding the trooper. As the motorcycle approached the intersection at Coastal Highway and Melson Road, it accelerated northbound through the red light at a high rate of speed. At the same time, a Ford F-150 was crossing the northbound lanes from Coastal Highway southbound to Bay Crossing Boulevard. As a result, the motorcycle collided with the passenger side of truck.

    The motorcyclist, a 19-year-old man from Bear, Delaware, was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford F-150, a 69-year-old man from Milton, Delaware, was not injured.

    Coastal Highway was closed for an extended time while the scene was investigated and cleared.

    The Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred last night in Newark.

    On January 10, 2025, at approximately 10:45 p.m., troopers responded to a residence on the 900 block of Old Baltimore Pike in Newark for a report of shots fired. When troopers arrived, they learned an unknown suspect fired an unknown number of shots that hit the occupied residence. There was one adult and one child inside at the time of the shooting. The victims were not injured, and the incident remains under investigation.

    State Police Detectives Arrest Laurel Pair Following Probation & Parole Search

    The Delaware State Police have arrested 29-year-old Devin Collins and 31-year-old Brittany Gray, both of Laurel, Delaware, on several gun and drug charges following an administrative search conducted by Probation and Parole on Monday.

    On December 23, 2024, at approximately 4:56 p.m., the Sussex County Drug Unit assisted Probation and Parole after an administrative search at probationer Devin Collins’ residence on the 32000 block of South Summer Court in Laurel, led to the discovery of guns and illicit drugs. During the search of the residence, four children were present, and Collins and Gray were detained. Probation officers located the following:

    • Loaded 9mm handgun and ammunition
    • RF-15 multicaliber rifle
    • 19 amphetamine pills
    • 119 ecstasy pills
    • 4 Oxycodone pills
    • Approximately 495.38 grams of methamphetamine
    • Approximately 27.32 grams of raw heroin
    • Approximately 21.84 grams of heroin
    • Several digital scales
    • Assorted drug paraphernalia

    The children were turned over to the custody of a family member.

    Collins, who is prohibited from possessing firearms and/or ammunition, and Gray were arrested and taken to Troop 4 where they were charged with multiple crimes.


    Collins was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $130,200 cash bond and $50,000 cash bond for violation of probation charges filed by Probation and Parole.

    Troopers Arrest Greenwood Teenager for Robbery

    The Delaware State Police have arrested a 16-year-old male from Greenwood, Delaware, for multiple felonies following a robbery in Greenwood.

    On December 18, 2024, at approximately 3:25 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a robbery on the 14000 block of Mile Stretch Road in Greenwood. The investigation revealed that a 16-year-old victim agreed to buy a dirt bike from an acquaintance, identified as the 16-year-old suspect. The victim agreed to drive to the dirt bike’s location with the suspect to complete the purchase. While the victim drove the suspect to Mile Stretch Road, the suspect displayed a firearm. When they got to the location to purchase the dirt bike, the suspect took the victim’s money and ran away. The victim was not hurt.

    Troopers searched the area and quickly located the suspect on the 6000 block of Newton Way, where he was ultimately taken into custody after a brief struggle. During a search of the suspect, troopers found the money and a loaded 9mm handgun that was reported stolen to the Delaware State Police in March of 2024.

    The suspect was taken to Troop 5, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and committed to Stevenson House Detention Center on a $69,000 cash bond.

    Search Warrant in Georgetown Leads to Arrests for Gun and Drug Offenses

    Delaware State Police have arrested 43-year-old Alexis Lockerman, 39-year-old Hunter Thompson, both of Georgetown, Delaware, and 39-year-old Kelly Mauger of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, for felony gun and drug charges following a search warrant in Georgetown last week.

    On December 12, 2024, members of the Sussex County Drug Unit and the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force, executed a search warrant at a residence on the 24000 block of Springfield Road in Georgetown. The search warrant was obtained following an investigation of Lockerman and the distribution of illegal narcotics from the residence while children were seen present. During the search warrant, detectives took Mauger into custody without incident outside of the residence. During a search of her person, detectives found approximately 14.34 grams of methamphetamines. Lockerman and Thompson were taken into custody without incident inside the residence.

    A search of the residence led to the discovery of the following items:

    • Approximately 91.82 grams of methamphetamines
    • 62 alprazolam pills
    • 8 Vyvanse pills
    • 5 buprenorphine and naloxone sublingual film strips
    • Digital scales
    • Drug paraphernalia
    • Sawed-off 16-gauge shotgun and ammunition
    • .22 caliber revolver

    Lockerman, Thompson, and Mauger were all taken to Troop 4 where they were charged with multiple crimes.


    Lockerman was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $72,000 cash bond.

    State Police Investigating Single-Vehicle Fatal Crash Near Ellendale

    Delaware State Police are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash that occurred this morning near Ellendale.

    On December 18, 2024, at approximately 9:55 a.m., a Honda Accord was traveling northbound on Dupont Boulevard north of East Robbins Road. For reasons under investigation, the Honda left the east side of the road, traveled a short distance, and struck a tree.

    The driver, a 37-year-old woman from Ellendale, Delaware, was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. An unrestrained front seat passenger, a 38-year-old man from New Castle, Delaware, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being withheld until his family is notified.

    Dupont Boulevard was closed for approximately three hours while the crash was investigated the and cleared.

    State Police Detectives Arrest Suspect for Threat Made to Caesar Rodney High School

    The Delaware State Police have arrested 18-year-old Malik Cooper of Magnolia, Delaware after he made a threat of violence to Caesar Rodney High School on Tuesday.

    On December 10, 2024, the School Resource Officer assigned to Caesar Rodney High School, located at 239 Old North Road in Camden, was contacted about a threat of violence that had been made towards the school on social media and by text message. Due to the threat, additional law enforcement responded to the school to ensure everyone’s safety.

    Through investigative means, detectives identified Malik Cooper as the person who made the threat and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

    On December 11, 2024, Cooper turned himself in at Troop 3. He was charged with the crime listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released on his own recognizance.

    The Delaware State Police have arrested three 17-year-old males, all of Harrington, Delaware, for felony charges following a strong-arm robbery that occurred last month at Shore Stop in Felton.

    On November 28, 2024, at approximately 3:10 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a strong-arm robbery. The investigation revealed that a 17-year-old male victim was in the parking lot at Shore Stop, located at 8953 South Dupont Highway in Felton, when he was attacked by three unknown male suspects wearing masks. The suspects stole the victim’s property and fled in an unknown vehicle. The victim was not hurt.

    Through investigative means, detectives identified three 17-year-old males as the suspects and obtained warrants for their arrest.

    On December 7, 2024, the 17-year-old was arrested and taken to Troop 3. He was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and released on his own recognizance.

    State Police Investigating Fatal Pedestrian Crash in New Castle

    The Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred last night in New Castle that left one man dead.

    On December 7, 2024, at approximately 11:16 p.m., a Toyota Tacoma was traveling southbound in the right lane on North Dupont Parkway north of Christiana Road. The preliminary investigation revealed that a pedestrian, wearing dark clothing, entered the southbound lane and into the Tacoma’s path of travel. As a result, the front of the Tacoma hit the pedestrian.

    The pedestrian, a 44-year-old man from New Castle, Delaware, was taken to an area hospital, where he later died. His name is being withheld until his family is notified.

    The driver of the Tacoma, a 38-year-old man from Smyrna, Delaware, was not injured.

    The roadway was closed for approximately two hours while the scene was investigated and cleared.

    State Police Investigating Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in Wilmington

    The Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred in Wilmington on Thursday that left one woman dead.

    On December 5, 2024, at approximately 10:20 a.m., a Honda Civic was turning left onto East Lea Boulevard southbound from Colony Boulevard. At the same time, a GMC Yukon was traveling northbound on East Lea Boulevard passing the intersection at Colony Boulevard. The preliminary investigation revealed that the Honda pulled into the path of the GMC and as a result, the front of the GMC hit the driver’s side of the Honda.

    The driver of the Honda, an unrestrained 32-year-old woman from Wilmington, Delaware, was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. An unrestrained front seat passenger, a 28-year-old woman, also from Wilmington, Delaware, was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    The driver of the GMC, a 36-year-old man from Wilmington, Delaware was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    On December 7, 2024, the driver of the Honda died from her injuries. Her name is being withheld until her family is notified.

    State Police Investigating Fatal Three-Vehicle Crash Near Millsboro

    Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash that occurred near Millsboro yesterday that left one woman dead.

    On December 6, 2024, at approximately 5:56 p.m., a Ram Promaster was traveling westbound on Coolspring Road approaching the stop sign at Harbeson Road. At the same time, a Nissan Sentra was traveling southbound on Harbeson Road approaching Coolspring Road. A third vehicle, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, was traveling northbound on Harbeson Road approaching Coolspring Road. For reasons still under investigation, the Promaster passed the stop sign and as a result, the right front of the Promaster hit the driver’s side of the Nissan. Debris from the crash then hit the Jeep causing minor damage.

    The driver of the Nissan, an 86-year-old man from Millsboro, Delaware, was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. A passenger, a 79-year-old woman, also from Millsboro, was taken to an area hospital where she later died. Her name is being withheld until her family is notified.

    The driver of the Promaster, a 29-year-old man from Salisbury, Maryland suffered minor injuries and refused transport to the hospital.

    The driver of the Jeep, a 32-year-old man from Lincoln, Delaware, was not injured.

    The Delaware State Police have arrested 31-year-old John Arce of Newark, Delaware for multiple felony charges following a vehicular assault and robbery that occurred on Wednesday in Newark.

    On December 4, 2024, at approximately 6:45 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a car at the Shell gas station located at 380 East Chestnut Hill Road in Newark. Preliminary investigation revealed a 38-year-old man was walking through the parking lot when a red passenger car drove toward him at a high rate of speed and struck him. The suspect got out of the car, stole the victim’s wallet, and fled the area. The victim was taken to an area hospital by ambulance for serious injuries.

    Through investigative means, Troop 2 Robbery Detectives identified the suspect responsible for the vehicular assault and robbery as John Arce, a family member of the victim.

    State Police Detectives Investigating Robbery in Newark

    The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Newark early yesterday morning.

    On December 5, 2024, at approximately 4:52 a.m., troopers responded to a report of a robbery at the Service Plaza, located at 520 John F. Kennedy Memorial Highway in Newark. The investigation revealed that an unknown male suspect entered an unoccupied and unsecured tractor and trailer in the parking lot. When the driver returned to the truck, the suspect threatened him with a knife, stole his property, and fled the area. The victim was not hurt.

    Delaware State Police Troop 2 Robbery Unit continues to investigate this incident. Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed this incident or has relevant information to contact Detective D.     Troopers Arrest Bridgeville Man for 5th Offense DUI

    Delaware State Police have arrested 59-year-old Glen Sample of Bridgeville, Delaware, for 5th offense felony DUI yesterday morning near Bridgeville.

    On December 4, 2024, at approximately 1:37 a.m., a trooper on patrol saw a Nissan Maxima speeding westbound on Seashore Highway near Wilson Hill Road and pulled it over. When the trooper spoke to the driver, identified as Glen Sample, he showed signs of impairment. The trooper administered Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and after the tests, he was arrested for driving under the influence. A computer check showed that Sample had four prior DUI-related convictions and a suspended driver’s license.

    Sample was taken to Troop 5, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and released on a $6,150 unsecured bond.

    Drug Investigation Leads to Arrests for Gun and Drug Offenses

    Delaware State Police have arrested 36-year-old Katie Dilworth of Seaford, Delaware and 37-year-old King Gray of Laurel, Delaware, and for felony gun and drug charges following a drug investigation in Seaford.

    On November 27, 2024, members of the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force and the Sussex County Drug Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence on the 9000 block of Brickyard Road in Seaford. The search warrant was obtained following a month-long investigation of Dilworth who was suspected of distribution of illegal narcotics from the residence. Before executing the search warrant, detectives saw a Ford Explorer, driven by Katie Dilworth, leave the residence. Detectives were aware Dilworth’s driver’s license was revoked, and conducted a traffic stop on the Explorer. During the stop, Dilworth was taken into custody, and a subsequent search of the Explorer led to the discovery of an alprazolam pill in the center console. At the same time, detectives at the residence saw a man, identified as King Gray, walking away from the residence with a child, and conducted a stop. Gray was ultimately taken into custody after a consensual search of his person led to the discovery of approximately 2.02 grams of crack cocaine, and a stolen loaded 9mm handgun with an obliterated serial number.

    During a search of the residence, that was occupied by another child, detectives discovered the following:

    • Approximately 1.59 grams of crack cocaine
    • Approximately 41.9 grams of marijuana
    • Digital scale
    • Drug paraphernalia

    Dilworth and Gray were both arrested and taken to Troop 4, where they were charged with multiple crimes.


    Dilworth was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released on her own recognizance.

    Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Seaford Man for Felony Drug Charges

    Delaware State Police arrested 22-year-old Enrique Azuara of Seaford, Delaware for felony drug charges following a traffic stop near Georgetown.

    On December 1, 2024, at approximately 12:32 p.m., a trooper on patrol saw a Dodge Dart pass a vehicle on the right on Seashore Highway near Wilson Hill Road. The trooper pulled the car over and spoke with the driver, identified as Enrique Azuara. A computer check showed that Azuara had a suspended driver’s license, and capias warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident. During a search of the Dodge, troopers found approximately 3.06 grams of cocaine, approximately 4.50 grams of methamphetamines, half of an Oxycodone pill, a broken scale that was damaged by Azuara during the stop, plastic containers, and $1,976 in suspected drug proceeds.

    Azuara was taken to Troop 5, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $5,802 secured bond.

    Lewes Daycare Employee Arrested for Child Abuse

    Delaware State Police have arrested 22-year-old Kaitlyn Kachnovitz of Lewes, Delaware for child abuse following an investigation at a Lewes daycare.

    On November 15, 2024, troopers were contacted for a report of physical abuse of a child by a staff member at Beach Babies Daycare, located at 31169 Learning Center Lane in Lewes. Through the course of the investigation, detectives learned that on November 15th, the staff member, identified as Kaitlyn Kachnovitz, forcefully grabbed a 2-year-old child causing a minor injury. Kachnovitz’s employment was terminated the day of the incident.

    On November 25, 2024, Kachnovitz turned herself in at Troop 4, where she was charged with the crime listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released on her own recognizance.

    The Delaware State Police are investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred in Felton yesterday.

    On November 28, 2024, at approximately 3:10 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a strong-arm robbery. The investigation revealed that a 17-year-old male victim was in the parking lot at Shore Stop, located at 8953 South Dupont Highway in Felton, when he was attacked by three unknown male suspects wearing masks. The suspects stole the victim’s property and fled in an unknown vehicle. The victim was not hurt.

    Delaware State Police Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this incident.     State Police Detectives Investigating Shots Fired in Dover

    Delaware State Police Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred in Dover early this morning.

    On November 25, 2024, at approximately 12:15 a.m., troopers responded to John Clark Road in Dover for a report of shots fired. When troopers arrived, they learned that two unknown black males. along with two other unknown males, were arguing in the street before an unknown number of shots were fired. Further investigation revealed that an unoccupied house on the 1500 block of John Clark Road had been hit by gunfire. The unknown suspects fled the scene on foot, and detectives recovered numerous shell casings at the scene. No one was injured, and the incident remains under investigation.

    Delaware State Police Detectives are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Greenwood yesterday.

    On November 14, 2024, at approximately 11:01 a.m., troopers responded to Webb Farm Road near Beach Highway in Greenwood for a report of shots fired. The investigation revealed that a 44-year-old man was traveling southbound in a Toyota on Webb Farm Road approaching Beach Highway. The victim saw a gray Dodge pick-up pulling a trailer, enter his lane of travel that prompted him to blow the horn at the Dodge. The Dodge then pulled over on Webb Farm Road and an unknown male driver got out. The victim continued southbound, ultimately onto Oak Road south of Beach Highway, when he heard multiple gunshots. Nothing was hit by gunfire, and no one was injured.

    Troopers Investigating Road Rage Incident in Georgetown

    Delaware State Police are investigating a road rage incident involving a gun that occurred yesterday in Georgetown.

    On November 12, 2024, at approximately 11:44 a.m., troopers responded to the area of Springfield Road and Gravel Hill Road in Georgetown for a report of a road rage incident involving a gun. The investigation revealed that a Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 37-year-old victim, was traveling westbound on Johnson Road, approaching the intersection at Gravel Hill Road. At the same time the victim entered the intersection, another Chevrolet Silverado, driven by an unknown white male suspect, also entered the intersection from eastbound Springfield Road. After a near collision at the intersection, the suspect’s Silverado proceeded to travel behind the victim southbound on Gravel Hill Road. The suspect then sped up and entered the oncoming travel lane to be parallel with the victim’s vehicle. Once the suspect was alongside the victim’s driver side window, he pointed a handgun at the victim. After the victim sped up to get in front of the suspect, the suspect’s Silverado fled eastbound on Zoar Road. Troopers searched for the area but were unable to locate the suspect or the suspect’s truck.

    The suspect is described as a white male with a bald head, who is possibly armed with a handgun. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white Chevrolet Silverado with a Leer cap on the bed of the truck.

    Troopers continue to investigate this incident and are asking anyone who witnessed this incident or has information to please contact Trooper First Class T.     State Police Detectives Arrest Camden Man for Homicide

    The Delaware State Police have arrested 63-year-old Gregory Bratcher of Camden, Delaware, for murder following a death investigation in Magnolia.

    On June 30, 2024, at approximately 4:59 p.m., troopers responded to the 200 block of Apple Blossom Drive in Magnolia, for a welfare check. When troopers arrived, they found 72-year-old Marjeanne Lande deceased in the home. During the months-long investigation, it was determined by the Division of Forensic Sciences that Lande was the victim of a homicide.

    Through investigative means, Delaware State Police Detectives identified Lande’s boyfriend, Gregory Bratcher as the suspect. On November 4, 2024, he was indicted by a Kent County Grand Jury.

    On November 8, 2024, Bratcher was taken into custody, he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Kent County Superior Court, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $1,000,000 cash bond.

    Kent County Governor’s Task Force Arrest Smyrna Man for Gun and Drug Offenses

    Delaware State Police have arrested 25-year-old Nasir Wayman of Smyrna, Delaware, for felony gun and drug charges in Smyrna.

    Earlier this month, members of the Kent County Governor’s Task Force began an investigation of Nasir Wayman and the distribution of illegal narcotics. Further investigation revealed that he also had a capias warrant for his arrest. On November 11, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m., detectives on patrol saw a Kia Optima, driven by Wayman, pulling into the parking lot of ACME, located at 236 East Glenwood Avenue in Smyrna. When detectives approached the Optima, Wayman fled from them and while running, discarded drugs in the parking lot. He was ultimately arrested after the foot chase and Taser deployment.

    During a search of the parking lot, Wayman, and the Optima, detectives discovered the following items:

    • Approximately 4.05 grams of heroin
    • Loaded 9mm handgun with an obliterated serial number

    Wayman was taken to Troop 3 where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $70,000 cash bond.

    Delaware State Police have arrested 34-year-old Quincy Taylor of Wilmington, Delaware, for a bank robbery that occurred at a Wilmington area Fulton Bank on Monday.

    On November 4, 2024, at approximately 1:38 p.m., troopers responded to the Fulton Bank, located at 800 Foulk Road, Wilmington, for a report of a robbery. The preliminary investigation revealed an unknown black male suspect entered the bank and presented a demand note to a bank employee. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot towards Wilson Road with an undisclosed amount of cash.

    Through investigative means, detectives identified Quincy Taylor as the suspect in the bank robbery and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

    On November 8, 2024, Taylor was arrested by Elsmere Police Department on New Road after he fled the scene of an attempted robbery on the 200 block of North Union Street in Wilmington. He was taken to Wilmington PD, where he was charged with the crime listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11, and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $32,000 cash bond.

    Felton Man Arrested Following Stolen Gun Investigation

    Delaware State Police and Dover Police Department have arrested 18-year-old Sahir Samuels of Felton, Delaware for several gun charges following a stolen gun investigation.

    Beginning in September of 2024, Dover Police Department and Delaware State Police began investigating a theft of a firearm that occurred on the 100 block of West Loockerman Street in Dover. Through investigative means, detectives identified the suspect as Sahir Samuels, an active probationer, a person prohibited from possessing a firearm, as the person responsible for the theft and obtained warrants for his arrest. On November 7, 2024, the Kent County Governor’s Task Force arrested Samuels without incident. During a probation search of his residence, probation officers located the following:

    • Stolen Taurus 9mm handgun
    • 3D printed Glock style frame, trigger, and mechanism
    • 9mm magazines and ammunition

    Samuels was taken to Troop 3, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $44,000 cash bond.

    Kent County Governor’s Task Force Arrest Greenwood Man Following Pursuit

    Delaware State Police have arrested 56-year-old Richard Boyd of Greenwood, Delaware, for multiple felony offenses following a pursuit near Lincoln.

    On November 5, 2024, at approximately 7:05 p.m. members of the Kent County Governor’s Task Force were on patrol on Calhoun Road near Rust Road in Lincoln, when they saw a silver Dodge Durango on the side of the road with its hazard lights on. Detectives stopped to check on the Durango, but it drove away. Detectives tried to pull the Durango over, but it did not stop. During the pursuit, detectives saw the driver, later identified as Richard Boyd, throw drugs out of the SUV while driving on area roads. During a search of the area where the drugs were thrown and the Durango, detectives found approximately 7.5 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 0.69 grams of heroin, and drug paraphernalia.

    Boyd was taken to Troop 3, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $20,500 secured bond.

    Search Warrant in Rehoboth Beach Leads to Arrests for Drug Offenses

    Delaware State Police have arrested 49-year-old Eric Howell of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, 32-year-old Trevor Harmon of Lewes, Delaware, and 23-year-old Elizabeth Hone of Rockville, Maryland for felony drug and related charges following a search warrant at a Rehoboth Beach hotel.

    On November 5, 2024, members of the Sussex County Drug Unit and the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force, executed a search warrant at hotel room at Rodeway Inn and Suites, located at 19540 Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach. The search warrant was obtained following an investigation of Howell and the distribution of illegal narcotics from the hotel room.  During the search warrant, Howell exited the hotel room, saw detectives, and attempted to discard narcotics by stepping on them. He was taken into custody without incident. Detectives also detained Harmon and Hone, who were found in the hotel room.

    During a search of Howell, Harmon, Hone, the hotel room, and Howell’s vehicle, detectives discovered the following items:

    • Approximately 11.78 grams of crack cocaine
    • Approximately 0.15 grams of heroin
    • $310.00 in suspected drug proceeds
    • Digital scales

    Howell was taken to Troop 7 where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $34,500 secured bond.

    State Police Investigating Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash Near Seaford

    Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred near Seaford last night that left one man dead.

    On November 4, 2024, at approximately 8:16 p.m., a Kia Optima was traveling eastbound on Ockels Road approaching the stop sign at Sussex Highway. At the same time, a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound on Sussex Highway, in the right lane, approaching Ockels Road. The preliminary investigation revealed, the Kia pulled away from the stop sign to cross Sussex Highway and into the path of the Silverado. As a result, the front of the Silverado hit the driver’s side rear of the Kia.

    The driver of the Kia, a 33-year-old woman from Milford, Delaware, was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. The front seat passenger, a 64-year-old man from Seaford, Delaware, was taken to an area hospital where he died. His name is being withheld until his family is notified.

    The driver of the Silverado, a 37-year-old man and a passenger, a 10-year-old child, both from Laurel, Delaware, were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    Sussex Highway was closed for approximately 3 hours while the scene was investigated and cleared.

    Search Warrant in Dover Leads to Arrest for Drug Offenses

    Delaware State Police have arrested 36-year-old Samuel Seymour of Dover, Delaware, for felony drug charges following a search warrant in Dover.

    On October 31, 2024, members of the Kent County Drug Unit and the Kent County Governor’s Task Force, executed a search warrant at an apartment on Webb Lane in Dover Estates. The search warrant was obtained following a five-month investigation of Seymour and the distribution of illegal narcotics from the apartment.  During the search warrant, detectives discovered that Seymour discarded narcotics out of the apartment window. He was taken into custody without incident.

    A search of the apartment and Seymour’s vehicle led to the discovery of the following items:

    • Approximately 862.56 grams of powder cocaine
    • Approximately 31.92 grams of crack cocaine
    • Digital scale
    • Drug paraphernalia
    • $3,930 is suspected drug proceeds

    Seymour was arrested and take to Troop 3 where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $122,400 cash bond.

    Troopers Arrest Seaford Man for Felony DUI, Gun, and Drug Charges

    Delaware State Police have arrested 51-year-old Leslie Riggleman, Jr. of Seaford, Delaware, for felony DUI, gun, and drug charges Tuesday.

    On October 29, 2024, at approximately 4:20 p.m., troopers responded to Woodland Ferry Road in Seaford for a report of a Mazda Protégé on the ferry with a male driver that appeared to be unconscious. When troopers arrived, the driver, later identified as Leslie Riggleman, Jr., was being evaluated by EMS and refused medical treatment. Troopers contacted Riggleman and observed multiple signs of impairment. Riggleman was subsequently taken into custody without incident. During a search of the Riggleman and the Mazda, troopers found approximately 1.17 grams of heroin, drug paraphernalia, and a shotgun. A computer check showed that Riggleman had two previous DUI-related convictions.

    Riggleman was taken to Troop 5, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $26,500 secured bond.

    The Delaware State Police are investigating an assault that occurred on Sandhill Road in Georgetown last night.

    On October 31, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., detectives responded to Beebe Healthcare in Lewes for a report of an assault. The investigation revealed that on October 30, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., a female victim was pulling into the driveway of her residence on the 18000 block of Sandhill Road when she saw a car parked on the side of the road. When the victim approached to check on the car, she was attacked by an unknown male. The victim was able to use a flashlight taser to defend herself and the suspect fled. The victim sustained minor injuries.

    Troopers Arrest Elkton, Maryland Man for 9th DUI Offense

    Delaware State Police have arrested 53-year-old James Thorpe of Elkton, Maryland for 9th offense felony DUI yesterday.

    On October 22, 2024, at approximately 4:14 p.m., a trooper on patrol saw a red Dodge Ram pickup speeding southbound on Dupont Parkway near Marl Pit Road. The trooper pulled the Dodge over and spoke to the driver, identified as James Thorpe, who showed signs of impairment. The trooper administered Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. After failing to complete the tests, Thorpe was arrested for driving under the influence. A computer check showed that he had eight prior DUI-related convictions.

    Thorpe was taken to Troop 9, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11, and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $6,000 secured bond.

    State Police Detectives Arrest Milton Man for Home Improvement Fraud

    Delaware State Police have arrested 46-year-old Christopher Russell of Milton, Delaware for home improvement fraud following multiple investigations.

    Beginning in March of 2024, Troop 3 and Troop 4 Financial Crimes Detectives began investigating Christopher Russell of Great Outdoors Sunrooms and Shade Solutions for home improvement fraud. During the investigations, detectives learned that Russell had signed contracts with five victims, in Kent and Sussex Counties, to do construction work and received over $118,000 in payments. In all cases, Russell either never began or never completed these projects.

    Detectives obtained warrants for his arrest and on October 18, 2024, Russell turned himself in at Troop 7. He was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released on a $23,000 unsecured bond.

    • Home Improvement Fraud Value is $50,000-$100,000 (Felony)
    • Home Improvement Fraud $1,500 or More (Felony)
    • Home Improvement Fraud by False Pretense $1,500 or More (Felony)

    Troopers Arrest Lewes Man for Felony Drug Charges

    Delaware State Police have arrested 39-year-old Byard Widdoes of Lewes, Delaware for felony drug charges Thursday morning.

    On October 17, 2024, at approximately 7:21 a.m., troopers responded to Wawa, located at 17663 Dartmouth Drive in Lewes, for a report of an unconscious man in a maroon Nissan Rogue in the parking lot. When troopers arrived, they saw the man, later identified as Byard Widdoes, slumped over the steering wheel. Troopers contacted the Widdoes, and when he awoke, he appeared confused but did not require medical attention. When Widdoes exited the Rogue, he continuously put his hands in his pockets after being told not to. Troopers detained him, and during a search of his person they found drugs and drug paraphernalia. A computer inquiry revealed that Widdoes also had capias warrants for his arrest.

    During a search of Widdoes and the Rogue, troopers discovered the following items:

    • Approximately 9.52 grams of powder cocaine
    • Approximately 1.31 grams of crystal methamphetamine
    • Approximately 124.08 ml of liquid methamphetamine
    • Approximately 32.20 ml of liquid testosterone
    • Approximately 1.89 grams of heroin
    • 1 Viagra pill
    • 2 Oxycontin pills
    • 2 Amphetamine pills
    • 4 Acetaminophen/ Oxycodone pills
    • Multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia

    Widdoes was arrested and taken to Troop 7, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in an $83,500 cash bond.

    State Police Investigating Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in Newark

    Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred in Newark last night that left one man dead.

    On October 17, 2024, at approximately 7:11 p.m., a Toyota Avalon was traveling southbound, in the left turn lane, on Paper Mill Road approaching the intersection of Polly Drummond Hill Road. At the same time, a Nissan Rogue was traveling northbound on Paper Mill Road approaching Polly Drummond Hill Road. For reasons still under investigation, while the Toyota began making a left turn for Polly Drummond Hill Road, the Nissan also entered the intersection. As a result, the front of the Nissan struck the front of the Toyota. After the collision, the Nissan struck a curb causing it to overturn and hit a traffic signal pole.

    The driver of the Toyota, an 82-year-old man from Newark, Delaware, was taken to an area hospital where he died. His name is being withheld until his family is notified.

    The driver of the Nissan, a 25-year-old woman from Newark, Delaware, and a 3-year-old child were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    The roadway was closed for approximately six hours while the scene was investigated and cleared.

    *Attempt to Identify* Delaware State Police Detectives Investigating a Homicide in Laurel

    The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects in a homicide that occurred in Laurel last year.

    On October 29, 2023, at approximately 2:47 p.m., Laurel Police Department and Delaware State Troopers responded to a reported shooting on the 500 block of West 7th Street in the town limits of Laurel. When officers arrived, they located 18-year-old Kylee Robinson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the porch of a residence. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Two additional victims, a 15-year-old male and a 13-year-old male, were located on the porch, suffering from gunshot wounds to the lower extremities and taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

    Due to the nature of the investigation, the Laurel Police Department requested that the Delaware State Police Homicide Unit assume the investigation. The investigation revealed two unknown black male suspects approached the victims on foot and started shooting. After numerous rounds were fired, the suspects fled on foot in a western direction.

    Delaware State Police have arrested 24-year-old Luis Lucas-Mendez of Georgetown, Delaware for vehicular homicide, DUI, and related charges following a fatal crash that left two people dead.

    On October 6, 2024, at approximately 01:34 a.m., a 2016 Nissan Rogue was traveling southbound on Sussex Highway in the left lane, south of Cannon Road. At the same time, a 2005 Honda Pilot was traveling northbound, also in the left southbound lane on Sussex Highway, into the Rogue’s path of travel. As a result, the front of the Rogue struck the front of the Pilot in the left southbound lane of Sussex Highway.

    The driver of the Rogue, a 22-year-old man from Washington, D.C. and a back seat passenger, an 18-year-old woman from Bethesda, Maryland, were taken to an area hospital for critical injuries. Two other passengers, 22-year-old Eric Staley of Fayetteville, North Carolina and 18-year-old Makayla Belton of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, were pronounced dead at the scene.

    The driver of the Pilot, Luis Lucas-Mendez, was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. A passenger, a 40-year-old man from Georgetown, Delaware, was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries. The investigation revealed that Lucas-Mendez was driving under the influence at the time of the crash.

    On October 9, 2024, after being released from the hospital, Lucas-Mendez was arrested and taken to Troop 2. He was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $30,201 cash bond.

    Troopers Investigating Robbery in Newark

    The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Walgreen’s in Newark.

    On October 15, 2024, at approximately 9:20 a.m., troopers responded to Walgreen’s, located at 4114 Ogletown-Stanton Road in Newark, for a late report of a robbery. The preliminary investigation revealed that on October 9, 2024, at approximately 3:32 p.m., an unknown white male suspect entered the business, broke the glass on a display case, and removed merchandise. When an employee attempted to contact the suspect as he was fleeing the store, he threatened to shoot the employee. No weapon was displayed, and no one was hurt.

    The suspect is described as an unknown white male, last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, a black knit hat, gray sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.

    State Police Investigating Single-Vehicle Fatal Collision in Greenwood

    Delaware State Police are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash that occurred early this morning in Greenwood.

    On October 16, 2024, at approximately 4:51 a.m., a Kia Sorento was travelling eastbound on Shawnee Road west of Memory Road. The preliminary investigation revealed that the Kia failed to negotiate a curve, left the north side of the road, striking a telephone box and a gas line. The Kia re-entered Shawnee Road then left the south side of the road and struck a tree.

    The driver, a 28-year-old man from Seaford, Delaware, was not properly restrained and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being withheld until his family is notified.

    Shawnee Road was closed for approximately three hours while the crash was investigated the and cleared.

    Troopers Arrest Maryland Man for Multiple Offenses Following Crash in Rehoboth Beach

    Delaware State Police have arrested 39-year-old Kevin Graves of Fort Washington, Maryland following a crash that occurred Sunday night in Rehoboth Beach.

    On October 13, 2024, at approximately 6:37 p.m., a trooper on patrol saw a white Ford Flex speeding southbound on Coastal Highway near Sylvan Acres Road with no headlights on. The trooper pulled the car over and spoke to the driver, identified as Kevin Graves. When the trooper returned to his vehicle, the Flex sped away from the traffic stop and a pursuit ensued. The trooper quickly lost sight of the Flex and terminated the pursuit for the safety of other motorists. The Flex was later seen travelling southbound on Coastal Highway driving recklessly and at a high rate of speed, with no headlights on, when it crashed into four vehicles that were stopped for the red light at Coastal Highway and Miller Road. After the crash, Graves fled the scene on foot, troopers searched the area but were unable to locate him. Later in the evening, troopers found Graves near the crash scene, and he was ultimately taken into custody after resisting arrest.

    An occupant in one of the vehicles hit by Graves, an 18-year-old woman from Georgetown, Delaware, was taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was injured as a result of the crash.

    Graves was taken to Troop 7, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $4,700 secured bond.

    Kent County Governor’s Task Force Arrest Frederica Man Following Pursuit

    Delaware State Police have arrested 32-year-old Brandon Thompson of Frederica, Delaware, for multiple felony offenses following a pursuit last night near Frederica.

    On October 14, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m. members of the Kent County Governor’s Task Force were on patrol when they saw an Audi A6 fail to signal when turning into a driveway on Old Beach Road near Frederica. Detectives attempted to pull the Audi over, but it sped away southbound. During the pursuit, detectives saw the driver, later identified as Brandon Thompson, throw objects out of the car while driving recklessly and at a high rate of speed. The Audi eventually came to a stop on Old Beach Road near Bowers Beach Road after detectives successfully deployed stop sticks. Thompson was taken into custody without incident and during a search of the Audi, detectives located drug paraphernalia. Detectives also found two bags that were thrown from the Audi that contained approximately 15.06 grams of crack cocaine and approximately 14.10 grams of powder cocaine.

    Thompson was arrested and taken to Troop 3, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and was released after posting a $13,204 secured bond.

    The Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run crash that occurred Friday night in Newark that left one man dead.

    On October 11, 2024, at approximately 7:26 p.m., an unknown vehicle was travelling eastbound on East Chestnut Hill Road east of Marrows Road. At the same time, a pedestrian was walking southbound across the eastbound lanes of East Chestnut Hill Road. The investigation revealed that the unknown vehicle struck the pedestrian and fled the scene eastbound on East Chestnut Hill Road.

    The victim, a 37-year-old man from Newark, Delaware, was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries. On October 14, 2024, he died as a result of his injuries. His name is being withheld until his family has been notified.

    Search Warrant in Dagsboro Leads to Arrest for Drug Offenses and Stolen Property

    Delaware State Police have arrested 62-year-old John Rickards of Dagsboro, Delaware, for multiple felony drug charges and receiving stolen property following a search warrant at a Dagsboro residence.

    On October 10, 2024, members of the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force and the Sussex County Drug Unit, executed a search warrant at a house on the 32000 block of Dupont Boulevard in Dagsboro. The search warrant was obtained following a three-month investigation of Rickards for a criminal nuisance property as well as the manufacturing and distribution of illegal narcotics. During the search warrant, detectives detained nine individuals that were located on the property, including Rickards.

    A search of the property led to the discovery of the following items:

    • Approximately 197.02 grams marijuana
    • Approximately 2.03 grams cocaine
    • Approximately 2.85 grams of methamphetamines
    • Approximately 0.12 grams of crack cocaine
    • Drug paraphernalia and digital scales
    • $641 in suspected drug proceeds
    • Stolen John Deere Gator UTV
    • Several stolen power tools

    After a search of the property, four of the nine individuals detained were arrested for misdemeanor offenses and capias warrants. The others were released without incident.

    Rickards was taken to Troop 4 where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $59,000 cash bond.

    State Police Investigating Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash Near Georgetown

    Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred near Georgetown yesterday that left one man dead.

    On October 10, 2024, at approximately 2:33 p.m., a Peterbilt 567 roll-off container truck was traveling westbound on Hardscrabble Road approaching Landfill Lane. At the same time, a Nissan Sentra was travelling eastbound on Hardscrabble Road approaching Landfill Lane. The preliminary investigation revealed, the Peterbilt initiated a left turn for Landfill Lane, into the Sentra’s path of travel. As a result, the Sentra attempted to swerve to the right, however the front of the Sentra hit the front left side of the Peterbilt.

    The driver of the Sentra, a 20-year-old man from Georgetown, Delaware, was taken to an area hospital where he died. His name is being withheld until his family is notified.

    The driver of the Peterbilt, a 30-year-old man from Seaford, Delaware, was not injured.

    The Hardscrabble Road was closed for approximately 4 hours while the scene was investigated and cleared.

    Search Warrant in Magnolia Leads to Arrests for Drug Offenses

    Delaware State Police have arrested 29-year-old Takeya Benson, 24-year-old Samuel Horton, and 33-year-old Clarence Sullivan, all of Magnolia, Delaware, for felony drug charges following a search warrant at a Magnolia residence.

    On October 8, 2024, members of the Kent County Governor’s Task Force and Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team, executed a search warrant at a house on Nascar Lane in Magnolia. The search warrant was obtained following an investigation of Benson and Horton and the distribution of illegal narcotics from the property.  During the search warrant, detectives detained six individuals that were located on the property, including Benson, Horton, and Sullivan and saw Sullivan attempting to discard narcotics out of a window.

    A search of the property and vehicles led to the discovery of the following items:

    • Approximately 182.46 grams crack cocaine
    • Approximately 72.04 grams cocaine
    • Approximately 88.65 grams heroin
    • Approximately 75.76 grams psilocybin mushrooms
    • 3 Oxycodone pills
    • $1,182 USC in suspected drug dealing proceeds
    • Drug paraphernalia and digital scales

    After a search of the property, two of the six individuals detained were arrested for misdemeanor offenses and capias warrants. One was released without incident. Benson, Horton, and Sullivan were all taken to Troop 3 where they were charged with multiple crimes.

    Benson was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on a $148,400 cash bond.

    School Bus Aide Arrested for Child Abuse

    Delaware State Police have arrested 80-year-old Priscilla Schoolfield of Frankford, Delaware for child abuse after an incident with a student on a school bus.

    On September 23, 2024, Delaware State Police were notified by Indian River School District of an incident that occurred between a school bus aide and a student. During the investigation, detectives learned that on September 16, 2024, a bus contracted for the Indian River School District Early Learning Center, picked up a 4-year-old student at a bus stop near their residence. As the student got on the bus, the bus aide, identified as Priscilla Schoolfield, pushed the student to the rear of the bus, forcefully shoved the student into a seat, then struck the student.

    On October 8, 2024, Schoolfield was arrested and taken to Troop 4, where she was charged with the crime listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released on her own recognizance.

    Delaware State Police have arrested 34-year-old Carlton Harris of Dover, Delaware for a robbery that occurred earlier this week in Dover.

    On October 6, 2024, at approximately 7:25 p.m., troopers responded to Dollar General, located at 2071 South Dupont Highway in Camden, for a report of a robbery. The preliminary investigation revealed that two victims were on a blue and white Suzuki dirt bike near the intersection of Howell Street and Carter Avenue in Dover when they were approached by two unknown black male suspects. The two suspects assaulted the victims, and one of them stole the dirt bike. After the robbery, the victims ran to Dollar General to call 9-1-1. The victims sustained minor injuries.

    On October 8, 2024, Harris was arrested and taken to Troop 3. He was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released on a $8,000 unsecured bond.

    Delaware State Police have arrested 34-year-old Orlando Saunders of Camden, Delaware for theft of bleachers from Marydel-Hartly Little League.

    On September 23, 2024, at approximately 1:31 p.m., troopers responded to Marydel-Hartly Little League, located at 407 Taraila Road in Marydel, for a reported theft. During the investigation, troopers learned that an unknown black male suspect removed four bleachers from the complex and fled in an unknown maroon SUV.     State Police Detectives Arrest Millsboro Man for Home Improvement Fraud

    Delaware State Police have arrested 51-year-old Frank Stiles (aka Frank Smith) of Millsboro, Delaware for home improvement fraud following multiple investigations.

    Beginning in February of 2023, Troop 4 Financial Crimes Detectives began investigating Frank Stiles for home improvement fraud. Stiles operated under multiple business names, including Heron Creek Landscaping and Pools, Premier Pools and Spas, Regal Water LLC, and Stiles Group LLC. During the investigations, detectives learned that Stiles had signed contracts with sixteen victims to install in-ground swimming pools and do other outdoor construction. Stiles received over $1,500,000 in payments. In all cases, Stiles either never began or never completed these projects.

    Detectives obtained warrants for his arrest and on October 7, 2024, Stiles turned himself in at Troop 4. He was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and released on a $187,500 unsecured bond.

    • Theft Where Property Value is $50,000 – $100,000 (Felony) – 4 counts

    Troopers Seek Public’s Help to Locate Suspects in Dover Robbery

    The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred last night in Dover.

    On October 6, 2024, at approximately 7:25 p.m., troopers responded to Dollar General, located at 2071 South Dupont Highway in Camden, for a report of a robbery. The preliminary investigation revealed that two victims were on a blue and white Suzuki dirt bike near the intersection of Howell Street and Carter Avenue in Dover when they were approached by two unknown black male suspects. The two suspects assaulted the victims, and one of them stole the dirt bike. After the robbery, the victims ran to Dollar General to call 9-1-1. The victims sustained minor injuries.

    Through investigative means, troopers have identified one of the suspects as 34-year-old Carlton Harris of Dover and have obtained warrants for his arrest for the offenses listed below. Troopers are working to identify and locate the other suspect.

    State Police Detectives Arrest Dover Man in Shooting Incident

    Delaware State Police have arrested 25-year-old Cody Toomey of Dover, Delaware following a shooting incident that occurred in Dover that left one man injured.

    On October 3, 2024, at approximately 8:37 p.m., troopers responded to a residence on the 300 block of David Hall Road in Dover for a report of a shooting. When troopers arrived, they found a 45-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm. He was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    The preliminary investigation revealed that Toomey and the victim were working on a vehicle in the driveway when Toomey placed an unsecured gun on the front steps of the house. A 3-year-old family member found the gun and fired a shot, hitting the victim.

    Toomey was arrested and taken to Troop 3, where he was charged with the crime listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $6,000 secured bond.

    Delaware State Police have arrested 62-year-old Donna Connelly of Lewes, Delaware, for 6th offense felony DUI yesterday in Lewes.

    On October 2, 2024, at approximately 4:48 p.m., troopers responded to Old Orchard Road near New Road in Lewes for a report of a Chevrolet Equinox swerving all over the road and had hit a curb. Before troopers arrived, they were told that a concerned motorist was following the Equinox and reported that it was disabled on Minos Conaway Road west of Coastal Highway. When troopers arrived, they contacted the driver of the Equinox, identified as Donna Connelly, who showed multiple signs of impairment. Troopers administered Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and after the tests, she was arrested for driving under the influence. A computer check showed that Connelly had five prior DUI-related convictions.

    Connelly was taken to Troop 7, where she was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on a $10,050 secured bond.

    Delaware State Police have arrested 24-year-old Deante Massenburg of Chesapeake, Virgina for a robbery that occurred at a restaurant in Laurel last month.

    On September 8, 2024, at approximately 10:22 p.m., troopers responded to a robbery at Tacos Chabelita, located at 30661 Sussex Highway in Laurel. The preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown black male suspect entered the business, assaulted the victims, and forcefully removed money that the employees had on a table. Before fleeing, the suspect broke windows to the business, damaged a vehicle in the parking lot, and assaulted another victim with a hammer. Troopers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The victims sustained minor injuries.

    Through investigative means, detectives identified Massenburg as the suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest. On September 17, 2024, Massenburg was arrested in New York and on October 2, 2024, he was extradited to Delaware. He was taken to Troop 4 where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $29,300 cash bond.

    State Police Arrest Millsboro Man Following Pursuit in Stolen Car

    Delaware State Police have arrested 36-year-old Terence Savage of Millsboro, Delaware, for multiple felony offenses following a pursuit in a stolen car near Milton.

    On September 30, 2024, at approximately 6:45 p.m. members of the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force were on patrol on Lewes-Georgetown Highway near Park Avenue in Georgetown, when they saw a gray Chevrolet Camaro that was reported stolen during a robbery on September 29th. Troopers pulled the car over on Shinglepoint Road and attempted to contact the driver, but it sped away. During the pursuit, the Camaro drove recklessly and at high rate of speed on several area streets and roads. Troopers, assisted by Milton Police Department, lost sight of the Camaro but found it unoccupied on North Park Avenue in Milton after stop sticks were successfully deployed. After searching the area with a Milford Police Department K-9, police found the driver, identified as Terence Savage, he was taken into custody without incident. During the search for Savage, police located a backpack, in the area that he was found, that contained a loaded .40 caliber handgun with an obliterated serial number. During a search of Savage, troopers discovered approximately 3.94 grams of cocaine.

    Savage was taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $43,100 cash bond.

    Troopers Arrest Millsboro Man for 5th DUI Offense

    Delaware State Police arrested 67-year-old Craig Kayfield of Millsboro, Delaware, for 5th offense felony DUI last night in the Long Neck area of Millsboro.

    On October 1, 2024, at approximately 7:42 p.m., a trooper on patrol saw a Ford E-250 van travelling southbound on Long Neck Road near Oyster Road, that crossed the center line and swerved back. The trooper saw the van make an additional traffic violation and pulled it over. The driver, identified as Craig Kayfield, showed signs of impairment. Kayfield was unable to complete Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was arrested for driving under the influence. A computer check showed that he had four prior DUI-related convictions.

    Kayfield was taken to Troop 7, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $5,150 secured bond.

    Search Warrant in Lincoln Leads to Arrest for Drug Offenses

    Delaware State Police have arrested 44-year-old Antonio Young of Dover, Delaware, for felony drug charges following a search warrant at a Lincoln residence last week.

    On September 26, 2024, members of the Sussex and Kent County Drug Units, Sussex and Kent County Governor’s Task Force and Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team, executed a search warrant at a house on the 8000 block of Greentop Road in Lincoln. The search warrant was obtained following an investigation of Young and the distribution of illegal narcotics from the property. Detectives detained twelve individuals that were located on the property, including Young.

    A search of the property and vehicles led to the discovery of the following items:

    • Approximately 0.756 grams of heroin
    • Approximately 15.72 grams of crack cocaine
    • 12-gauge shotgun ammunition
    • Digital scales
    • Drug paraphernalia
    • $454 in suspected drug proceeds

    After a search of the property, four of the twelve individuals were arrested for misdemeanor offenses and capias warrants. The others were released without incident.

    Young was taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $45,000 cash bond.

    Troopers Arrest Wilmington Man for Aggravated Menacing and Felony DUI

    Delaware State Police arrested 61-year-old Ivis McGriff of Wilmington, Delaware, for aggravated menacing, Felony DUI, and other charges in Newark on Friday.

    On September 27, 2024, at approximately 11:04 a.m., troopers responded to report of disorderly person at ACME, located at 1 University Plaza in Newark. Before troopers arrived, they were told that a man, later identified as Ivis McGriff, brandished a knife, threatened people, then fled in a gray Dodge Dakota. The investigation revealed that an employee noticed that McGriff was acting suspicious while in the self-checkout and making threatening statements. Out of concern for other customer’s safety, the employee followed him to the exit of the store when an argument ensued between the two, and he was told to leave. During the argument, McGriff threatened the employee with a knife and fled the store in a gray Dodge Dakota. Troopers quickly located the Dakota on Christiana Road and pulled it over on I-95 near the Route 1 entrance ramp. When troopers contacted McGriff, he complied when asked to exit the truck and had a sheathed knife on his side. During their contact with McGriff, troopers observed multiple signs of impairment. He was arrested without incident and taken to Troop 2.

    While at Troop 2, troopers administered Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, and a computer check showed that he had three prior DUI-related convictions. After the tests, McGriff was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11, and released on a $23,650 unsecured bond.

    Troopers Arrest Millsboro Man for DUI and Drug Offenses Following Crash in Long Neck

    Delaware State Police have arrested 29-year-old Judson Wall of Millsboro, Delaware, for DUI, Drug, and crash related offenses following a crash that injured three children last night in Long Neck.

    On September 27, 2024, at approximately 7:25 p.m., a Chevrolet Silverado was travelling southbound on Indian Mission Road, stopped for traffic at the red light at John J. Williams Highway. A Kia K5 was stopped behind the Silverado, a Ford F-150 was stopped behind the Kia, and a BMW X7 was stopped behind the F-150. At the same time, a Mercedes GLE, driven by Judson Wall, was travelling southbound on Indian Mission Road, approaching the stopped vehicles. The investigation revealed that the Mercedes was traveling at an unsafe speed and failed to stay in the proper lane of travel. As a result, the Mercedes sideswiped the X7 and the F-150. The front of the Mercedes then stuck the rear of the Kia causing it to hit the Silverado.

    The driver of the Kia, a 39-year-old man from Lewes, was not injured. A passenger, a 6-year-old child, was taken to an area hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries. Two other children, ages 9 and 12, were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    During contact with Wall, troopers observed multiple signs of impairment and administered Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Following the tests, Wall was taken into custody without incident. During a search of Wall and his property, troopers discovered approximately 49.96 grams of marijuana. Wall was not injured in the crash.

    The occupants of the Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F-150, and BMW X7 were not injured.

    Wall was taken to Troop 7, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $7,004 secured bond.

    • Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Felony)
    • Vehicular Assault 1st Degree (Felony)
    • Vehicular Assault 2nd Degree – 2 counts
    • Driving Under the Influence

    Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Mill Park Drive in Bridgeville yesterday that left one man injured.

    On September 27, 2024, at approximately 1:47 p.m., troopers responded to the 21000 block of Mill Park Drive in Bridgeville, for a report of a shooting. When troopers arrived, they were told a 20-year-old man, suffering from gunshot wounds to his leg, was taken to a nearby hospital by private vehicle with non-life-threatening injuries. The preliminary investigation revealed that during an argument, an unknown suspect fired several rounds at the victim, hitting him in the leg.

    Troopers Arrest Three Men Following Burglary and Pursuit in Sussex County, Searching for Another

    Delaware State Police have arrested 34-year-old Richard Francis of Hanover Maryland, 20-year-old Marcus Gallmon of Washington, D.C., and 20-year-old Ilon Melson of Washington, D.C, for multiple felony offenses following a burglary and pursuit.

    On September 27, 2024, at approximately 2:35 a.m., a trooper patrolling Coastal Highway northbound near Westcoats Road saw a black Honda CRV swerving all over the road. The trooper attempted to pull the Honda over, but it sped away and a pursuit ensued. A short time later, troopers were notified of a burglar alarm at Chic at the Beach, located at 18259 Coastal Highway in Lewes. It was reported that four unknown suspects, operating a black Honda CRV, forced entry into the business and stole merchandise. During the pursuit, the Honda drove recklessly and at a high rate of speed on Coastal Highway and several roads before crashing into an unoccupied vehicle at a residence on the 700 block of Ponder Avenue in Ellendale. After the crash, the driver, later identified as Ilon Melson, was taken into custody. Two suspects, later identified as Marcus Galmon and Richard Francis, fled the scene but were ultimately taken into custody. Troopers are working to identify and locate the fourth suspect.

    During the investigation, troopers observed stolen merchandise from the business in the Honda.

    Melson and Francis were taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries they received as a result of the crash. After Melson was released from the hospital he, as well as Gallmon, were taken to Troop 7 where they were charged with multiple crimes.     State Police Investigating Single-Vehicle Fatal Crash in Dover

    Delaware State Police are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash that occurred in Dover early this morning.

    On September 27, 2024, at approximately 12:05 a.m., a Mazda CX5 was traveling westbound on Hazlettville Road approaching Artis Drive at an apparent high rate of speed. The preliminary investigation revealed that the Mazda failed to negotiate a curve, left the north side of the road, striking a mailbox and a utility pole guide wire. The Mazda then overturned, struck a tree, and an unoccupied vehicle at a residence on the 3900 block of Hazlettville Road. The unrestrained driver was ejected from the car.

    The driver, a 28-year-old woman from Dover, Delaware, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name is being withheld until her family is notified.

    The roadway was closed for an extended period of time while the scene was investigated and cleared.

    The Delaware State Police Troop 3 Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this incident.     The Delaware State Police have arrested two 15-year-olds, both of Millsboro, Delaware, for an armed robbery that occurred last week at Uncle Willie’s in Millsboro.

    On September 18, 2024, at approximately 6:20 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a robbery at Uncle Willie’s, located at 30058 John J. Williams Highway in Millsboro. The preliminary investigation revealed that two unknown white male suspects, entered the store, approached the cashier while holding a firearm. The suspects demanded money and tobacco products. The cashier complied, and the suspects fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money. Through investigative means, detectives identified the two teenagers as suspects and obtained warrants for their arrest. Detectives also learned that one of the suspects was involved in a shoplifting at the same location.

    On September 23, 2024, the 15-year-old turned himself in at Troop 4. He was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and committed to Stevenson House Detention Center on a $41,500 secured bond.

    Absconder Arrested Following Serious Crash in Delmar

    Delaware State Police have arrested 33-year-old Clifford David of Greenwood, Delaware for multiple felony offenses following a serious crash in Delmar.

    On September 24, 2024, at approximately 9:49 p.m., troopers responded to a residence on the 16000 block of Whitesville Road in Delmar for a report of a fugitive, identified as Clifford David, who absconded from the Sussex Community Corrections work crew earlier in the day. Before troopers arrived, they were notified that David fled from the residence with a 25-year-old woman and three children, ages 1, 2, and 7, in a Chevrolet Silverado, later determined to have been stolen from the Harrington area. While fleeing, David stopped to remove the children from the truck, but the woman pulled two of the three children back in. Before they drove away again, a witness took custody of the 7-year-old child, who was not injured. David subsequently crashed the Silverado on August Road near Whitesville Road.

    The preliminary crash investigation revealed that David was driving southbound on August Road recklessly and at a high rate of speed. As a result, David failed to negotiate a curve, causing the truck to leave the road, enter a ditch, and overturn. The unrestrained woman and two unrestrained children were ejected. All three were taken to area hospitals with serious injuries. David fled the scene after the crash. Troopers searched the area but could not locate him and obtained warrants for his arrest.

    On September 25, 2024, at approximately 7:00 a.m., troopers located David on Sussex Highway near Salt Barn Road in Laurel. He was taken into custody without incident.

    David was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $21,000 secured bond.

    • Reckless Endangering 1st Degree (Felony) – 3 counts
    • Theft of a Motor Vehicle (Felony)
    • Receiving Stolen Property (Felony)
    • Resisting Arrest
    • Vehicular Assault 2nd Degree

    The Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in Bridgeville last night.

    On September 24, 2024, at approximately 10:55 p.m., troopers responded to the 4000 block of Baker Road in Bridgeville for a report of shots fired. When troopers arrived, they learned an unknown suspect fired an unknown number of shots from an unknown vehicle that hit a house and an outbuilding. No one was injured, and the incident remains under investigation.

    Students Arrested for Assault and Aggravated Menacing at Sussex Technical High School

    Delaware State Police arrested a 16-year-old student from Georgetown, and a 16-year-old student from Seaford, following an assault that occurred at Sussex Technical High School.

    On September 17, 2024, at approximately 2:00 p.m., the Delaware State Police School Resource Officer assigned to Sussex Technical High School, located at 17099 County Seat Highway in Georgetown, was contacted by school staff for a report of an assault. The investigation revealed that during an argument in a trade class, a student swung a sharp metal file at another student. The second student then threw a sharp metal file at the other student, hitting him in the face and causing an injury.

    On September 18, 2024, the 16-year-old suspect turned himself in at Troop 4. He was charged with the crime listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released on his own recognizance to a parent.

    Search Warrant in Harrington Leads to Arrest for Gun and Drug Offenses

    Delaware State Police have arrested 33-year-old John Cox of Harrington, Delaware, for felony gun and drug charges following a search warrant at a Harrington residence yesterday.

    On September 18, 2024, members of the Kent County Governor’s Task Force and Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team, executed a search warrant at a house on the 400 block of Jackson Ditch Road in Harrington. The search warrant was obtained following an investigation of Cox and the distribution of illegal narcotics from the property. Cox was taken into custody at the residence without incident.

    A search of the property led to the discovery of the following items:

    • Approximately 13.58 grams of Methamphetamines
    • Naloxone Strips
    • 12-gauge shotgun
    • 12-gauge shotgun ammunition
    • Digital scale
    • Drug paraphernalia

    Cox was taken to Troop 3, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $14,000 secured bond.

    • Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Person Prohibited who also Possesses a Controlled Substance (Felony)
