Good morning, Delmarva! We’re starting this Sunday with some patchy fog across the peninsula, but don’t let that keep you indoors. The fog will lift by 10am, giving way to mostly sunny skies and a pleasant high of 75 degrees. With light south winds at 5 to 10 mph, it’s shaping up to be a beautiful day for any outdoor activities you have planned.
However, changes are coming tonight. We’ll see a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms moving in, with temperatures dropping to a cool 51 degrees. Monday brings a significant shift as rain becomes likely throughout the day, keeping us cooler with highs only reaching 54 degrees.
The good news? Monday night clears out nicely under mostly clear skies, though it’ll be quite chilly with lows dipping to 33 degrees – so you might want to bring in any sensitive plants or outdoor decorations.
