A dietary supplement company based in Incline Village, Nevada is voluntarily pulling one of its products from the market over concerns about possible contamination with a dangerous bacteria.
Relay Peak Research LLC, which operates under the name Zen Principle Naturals, announced the recall of its Zen Principle brand Moringa Capsules after determining the product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
Salmonella is a harmful organism capable of causing serious illness and, in some cases, can be fatal. The bacteria poses a particular danger to vulnerable populations, including young children, elderly individuals, and those with weakened immune systems.
Consumers who have purchased Zen Principle Moringa Capsules are urged to stop using the product immediately. Anyone who believes they may have been affected should consult a healthcare provider.
