Free agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill is still working to regain full strength in his left leg, roughly ten months after undergoing two surgical procedures to repair serious damage.
The 32-year-old, who has earned eight Pro Bowl selections and five first-team All-Pro honors, posted a workout video to YouTube on Wednesday evening giving fans a look at where his recovery stands following a dislocated left knee and torn ACL he suffered in late September of last season.
“My left leg is the one that I injured,” Hill explained in the video. “I have no power in my left leg, so I’m trying to regain all the power back in my left leg. But it’s one day at a time.”
Doctors had warned Hill after the injury that he “might not be able to walk again,” making the footage of him running and completing various exercises all the more striking.
As NFL teams begin arriving at training camps this week, Hill declined to give a specific date for when he expects to return to game action.
“I ain’t going to tell you what my timeline is, but timeline looking real good right now, man,” he said.
Hill entered free agency for the first time in his career after the Miami Dolphins cut him on February 16 as part of a cost-reduction move, ending his four-year run with the team.
Before going down with the injury in 2025, Hill had pulled in 21 receptions for 265 yards and one touchdown over four games. Across his entire career — split between the Kansas City Chiefs from 2016 to 2021 and the Dolphins from 2022 to 2025 — he has accumulated 819 catches, 11,363 receiving yards, and 83 touchdowns in 145 games.
