Todd Blanche is set to face a challenging Senate confirmation hearing as he pursues the role of the nation’s top law enforcement officer.
Blanche had already secured Senate confirmation earlier in President Trump’s second term, taking on the role of the No. 2 official at the Justice Department. Now, as he seeks to move into the department’s highest position, he is expected to face a more difficult and disputed hearing process.
