Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa revealed Sunday that his country is actively pursuing a security arrangement with Israel, one that would involve the participation of multiple nations.
Al-Sharaa made the remarks during an interview with Al Jazeera, stating that if the agreement succeeds, it could lay the groundwork for a wider peace between the two countries — without giving up Syria’s claim to the Golan Heights.
