Salisbury University’s track and field programs are being celebrated on the national stage — not just for athletic performance, but for what athletes are accomplishing in the classroom.
The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recognized both the Salisbury men’s and women’s track and field teams with All-Academic Team honors for the 2026 outdoor season.
Adding to the program’s distinction, Kai Smith was named the USTFCCCA National Scholar Athlete of the Year — a prestigious individual honor highlighting the combination of academic and athletic excellence.
