Peanut Prices Dip for Farmers in Latest USDA Report

Farmers saw a slight decline in what they were paid for peanuts during the most recent reporting period, according to federal agricultural statistics.

For the week ending July 11, the average price received by farmers for all farmer stock peanuts came in at 22.7 cents per pound. That figure represents a decrease of 1.5 cents compared to the prior period.

The data was published by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service as part of its ongoing tracking of commodity prices across the country.
