Martin Street in Salisbury Closing Wednesday for Sewer Repair Work

Salisbury, MD — The City of Salisbury’s Department of Waterworks Utilities Division has announced a temporary road closure on Martin Street as crews prepare to carry out a sewer lateral repair on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

The work will take place in the 400 block of Martin Street, requiring the road to be shut down to through traffic between Brown Street and Baker Street. The closure begins at 7 a.m. and is expected to wrap up by approximately 3:30 p.m., barring any weather delays or unexpected complications.

Drivers and residents in the area are asked to seek out alternate routes and exercise extra caution while traveling near the work zone. Both utility locators and Central Alarm have been informed of the scheduled repairs ahead of time.
