Drivers traveling southbound on South DuPont Highway (US Route 13) should be aware of an active lane restriction in the area.
A left lane closure is currently in effect on the southbound side of US 13 between 2nd Avenue and Pulaski Highway (US Route 40). The closure is related to ongoing construction work in the corridor.
The lane restriction is expected to remain in place until 3:00 PM. Motorists are encouraged to use caution when passing through the work zone and to allow for additional travel time if their route takes them through that stretch of highway.
