Ben Wikler, who previously led the Wisconsin Democratic Party as its chair, sat down with NPR’s Sacha Pfeiffer to discuss his newly released book on the state of American democracy.
The book, titled “This is the Plan: How to End America’s Meltdown and Save Democracy,” outlines Wikler’s ideas for what he believes must change about the U.S. political system.
The conversation with Pfeiffer gave Wikler an opportunity to share his perspective on the challenges facing the country and what he argues is a path forward for restoring democratic institutions.
