A former U.S. Army soldier is now in custody after he allegedly set a fire and opened fire with a pellet gun outside a federal building in New York City that serves as home to an immigration court.
Authorities detained the man following the incident at the federal facility. The building, which houses an immigration court, was the apparent target of both the fire and the pellet gun attack.
