DOVER, Delaware — Delaware’s 153rd General Assembly called it a session on July 1, 2026, recessing after passing a number of new laws tied to alcoholic beverage regulation in the state.
Before lawmakers wrapped up their work, the General Assembly approved multiple pieces of legislation that are set to change how alcohol licensing operates in Delaware.
The Office of Alcoholic Beverage Control Commissioner expressed appreciation for the legislature’s attention to the issue. “The OABCC is grateful to the members of the General Assembly for their focused and continued efforts to improve liquor licensing,” the office stated.
