Motorists traveling along DE Route 2 between Meadowood Drive and Delaware Park Drive are facing overnight lane restrictions as construction crews work in the area.
According to DelDOT, the left lanes in both directions along that stretch of roadway are currently closed. The closures are expected to remain in effect until 6 a.m.
Drivers are advised to plan ahead and allow extra travel time if their route takes them through that corridor. Use caution when passing through the construction zone.
