Northbound travelers on Route 1 near Dover are facing delays this morning after a crash forced the closure of the left lane at the Dover Toll Plaza.
The incident is affecting the EZ-Pass lane at the plaza, backing traffic up from South Bay Road to the toll plaza itself. DelDOT is reporting delays in the range of five to ten minutes for drivers passing through the area.
Motorists are urged to use caution, consider alternate routes if possible, and allow extra time when traveling northbound through the Dover Toll Plaza until the lane is reopened and the crash is cleared.
