A magnitude 5.1 earthquake rattled the area near Miami, a city in the state of Texas, on Thursday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The agency reported the quake occurred at a depth of 5.5 kilometers, which is approximately 3.42 miles below the surface.
