Russian military strikes have taken the lives of 28 people in Ukraine’s southern Odesa region since the start of July, the area’s regional governor announced on Monday.
Regional Governor Oleh Kiper described the ongoing assault during an appearance on Ukrainian television, painting a picture of relentless attacks on the region. “If you take since the beginning of July, the Odesa region was under constant daily shelling. There were days when 13-15 air raid alerts had been announced in the region,” Kiper said.
