Good morning, Delmarva! It’s going to be a stormy Tuesday, so keep that umbrella handy. We’re starting the day with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms as early as 9 a.m., and storm chances will climb steadily through the morning. By the afternoon, showers and thunderstorms look likely for much of the peninsula. Highs will reach a warm 85°F, but the real story is the rainfall — we could see between one and two inches of rain before the day is done. South winds will run 5 to 10 mph, with occasional gusts up to 25 mph. Please use caution on the roads during any heavy downpours!
Tonight, storm chances linger as temperatures drop to a comfortable 67°F. Looking ahead to Wednesday, good news — we’ll see plenty of sunshine with a high near 84°F, though a slight storm chance returns by the afternoon and into Wednesday night.
Stay weather-aware today, Delmarva. I’ll have updates throughout the day. Stay safe out there! 🌩️
