Good morning, Delmarva! It’s a gorgeous Sunday to get outside and enjoy the summer weather. We’re looking at a beautiful sunny day with a high near 84°F and light easterly winds staying between 0 and 5 mph — perfect conditions for a beach trip or backyard barbecue.
Tonight, skies stay mostly clear, but keep an eye out for patchy fog developing overnight as temperatures drop to a comfortable 64°F.
Looking ahead to Monday, that fog carries into the early morning hours before our weather pattern takes a turn. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop during the day, with the storm activity continuing into Monday night as lows hold near 69°F. If you have outdoor plans for Monday, make sure you have a backup plan and keep an umbrella handy!
